About Ruoqi Li
Ruoqi Li is an outstanding young violinist.
Educated at the prestigious China Conservatory of Music, Ruoqi studied under the tutelage of the celebrated violinist Wu Yang, the concertmaster of the China Philharmonic Orchestra. Her journey with the violin began at the tender age of five, and since then, she has participated in numerous competitions, clinching several prestigious awards along the way.
Ruoqi's exceptional talent garnered recognition and scholarships from illustrious institutions including the Berkeley Conservatory of Music in the United States, the Royal College of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music, and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, all in the United Kingdom.
In 2017, Ruoqi ventured to Poland's renowned Paderewski Academy of Music as the top candidate from mainland China. There, she studied under Janusz Przycki, a former judge of the Wieniawski International Violin Competition. Her academic excellence continued as she graduated summa cum laude from both the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels and the Royal Conservatory of Liège, where she was mentored by Mr. Philippe Koch, the principal of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
Ruoqi's performance career is as illustrious as her academic pursuits. She has graced the stages of renowned concert halls across China and internationally, including the National Grand Theatre, the Great Hall of the People, and the Zhongshan Concert Hall. Her international presence expanded through tours with the Chinese Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands, and several other esteemed orchestras, showcasing her talent on a global scale.
Holding a Master's degree in music, Ruoqi has dedicated recent years to promoting and teaching classical music. Her experience in violin education spans many years, during which she has nurtured and inspired a new generation of musicians. Her commitment to her craft and her students highlights her as not only a performer of extraordinary skill but also an educator with a deep passion for sharing the beauty of classical music.
